ICE-EM has conducted interviews with 10 Australian mathematics graduates to help people visualise the careers that a degree in mathematics or statistics may lead to. AMSI Universities Offering Mathematics Qualifications

They show that a great number and variety of careers are available to prospective university students after graduation if they include mathematics or statistics in their degrees.The booklet also includes advice on applying for jobs.

This set of full-colour A3 posters features young Australians and their careers that rely on the application of mathematics. Careers illustrated are sports statistician for Champion Data (the AFL's official data provider), financial analyst for Ernst and Young, system biologist at the Australian National University and balance sheet analyst for the Bank of Queensland.

The first series of "Maths and" posters featured the careers of oncologist for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne, digital technologist for DisneyToon Studies in Sydney, fisheries scientist for CSIRO Marine Research in Hobart, and operations manager for Carlton and United Beverages in Melbourne. They can be downloaded and printed as colour A3 documents.

Banners for a Careers Day
ICE-EM has produced banners suitable as backdrops for a careers day display or a school visit. All are 2.4m high and are produced in full colour on vinyl. There is one 3m banner with the headline ‘Careers in mathematics’; one 1m banner with the headline ‘Maths and your future’; and three 1m banners, each profiling a mathematics graduate in a different career (an author, an oncologist and a digital technologist). The banners are supplemented by T-shirts and other promotional material.
